| "We ordered wheels and an all purpose tool before Christmas with the first ones being intended as a present for the big day (an upgrade for the child’s skateboard). Upon ordering it gave us the 22nd as delivery date, which was about a week away. Needless to say, it arrived some days after Christmas because it was stuck in France (the kid was very understanding thankfully). I expected my order to be dispatched from Ireland, the .ie website is quite misleading in this case. The cardboard box arrived quite battered and it turned out, the wheels and the tool didn’t have any kind of padding material around them and were just placed in the box as is. The outer package of the tool had come completely undone, chipped and the 2cm sized spare part was thankfully to be found somewhere in a corner of the box. The whole experience wasn’t anything to write home about. Still, the wheels are amazing and made a great after-Christmas present." | |

We tried to turn the parcel around via GLS. However, we are in this depending on GLS, who needs to be able to communicate this in time with their depot and the specific deliverer and unfortunataly failed in this. | "SkatePro deserves a 5 Star plus rating. On 20 December 2021 I ordered a pair of Alpina Alaska Backcountry Ski Boots. The service I received was outstanding. I had been trying to buy a pair of Alpine mountaineering boots from outdoor stores in Calgary, Canada in a size 48 with no luck. Everywhere I tried in North America could not supply me with the Alpina Alaska boots in either size 48 nor even 47.5. I eventually found I could order a size 47.5 from SkatePro – with some apprehension I ordered that size based upon the information by SkatePro that the boots fit large and one should buy a size down. SkatePro promised delivery between December 23rdand January 5th which I thought was optimistic given the time of year. Much to my astonishment my boots arrived on December 29th – absolutely incredible delivery. The company’s recommendation of sizing was correct. The service and help by Jacob was first class. I highly recommend SkatePro and would definitely use them again." | |
